This workshop prepares teams to analyze processes to identify risk and take action to manage it. Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is the tool students learn and then apply to assess products and processes to improve performance.

FMEA is a predictive management tool for identifying how products and processes may potentially fail before failure occurs and identifying the critical controls and resources necessary to minimize an organization’s exposure to risk.

This course is particularly suited for managers that want to use FMEA to manage operational risk and meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 or ISO 14001. It is also intended for lean and six sigma practitioners.

Learn with short lectures, teamwork and hands-on workshops (approximately 50%) to deepen your understanding of processes and process improvement. This workshop-based course allows you to apply the techniques you learn as you go to best understand the potential benefits (and pitfalls) of using FMEA to manage risk.
