This workshop prepares teams to perform measurement system analysis (MSA)
to determine the adequacy of measurement systems for providing the data necessary
for the organization to control products and processes.
MSA
is a necessary methodology for distinguishing between variation within a business
process and variation within the measurement system used to collect data from the
business process.
While statistically based, this class teaches the techniques, methods and procedures
used by process managers and users to perform
MSA. An understanding of basic statistics is recommended but not required.
This course is particularly suited for managers that want to apply
MSA
and meet the requirements of
ISO
9001,
ISO/TS
16949 and/or
ISO
14001.
